Mosaic of Mykonos · Manto Mavrogenous Square

The town option. Mosaic is a modern Greek taverna on Manto Mavrogenous square, near the old harbour, with classic recipes and local wines. In the afternoon they also run a Greek cooking class.

Thioni · Semeli Hotel

The rooftop option. Thioni is the restaurant of the Semeli Hotel, a short walk uphill, with tables over the rooftops of the town and a menu designed by chef Ioannis Parikos.

Sunset, two options

Oniro · Tagoo

Oniro sits at Tagoo, above the old town, looking straight at the sunset. Go for a cocktail on the terrace before dinner. In July and August book the sunset slot a few days ahead.

Cantera · Little Venice

Or watch it from Cantera in Little Venice, where the kitchen mixes Japanese technique with good meat. Sunset first, then stay for dinner, or save the table for another evening.

Dinner

21:00

Dinner at Krama

The Krama rooftop at night: candle-lit tables and the pool glowing above Mykonos Town

Krama · Panachrantou, Mykonos Town

Krama sits on a rooftop in the upper part of Chora. Michelin-starred chef Ioannis Parikos cooks contemporary Greek and Cycladic food, there is live music most evenings, and the pool lights up after dark. For a special night take the six-course tasting menu at €130. Otherwise go à la carte and order the 12 Hours Lamb.

Dinner runs nightly from 19:30 until around midnight, May to early October. There is free valet parking at the door if you drive.

00:30

A last drink in Little Venice

Bao's Cocktail Bar by the sea in Little Venice, Mykonos

Bao's Cocktail Bar · Little Venice

Bao's is a small cocktail bar at the edge of the water in Little Venice, named after George Bao, a pirate who defended the island in 1770. The tables are close enough to the sea that a wave reaches them now and then. Go after midnight, when the town is quiet again.

For the easy nights

Smash Tag · Mykonos Town

Before you go

Book dinner first

In July and August good tables go days ahead. Fix dinner, then plan the rest of the day around it.

Eat late

Most people sit down at 21:00 or later. A 19:30 table gets the sunset light, a 21:30 table gets the full atmosphere.

Walk the town

Mykonos Town is pedestrian. Wear flat shoes, the marble lanes are slippery, and expect to get lost once or twice.

Driving in?

Parking in town is scarce. Use the valet where a restaurant offers one, or park at the Old Port and walk up.

End the evening at Krama

Dinner on the rooftop, 19:30 until late, May to October. Reserve on OpenTable or write to us on WhatsApp.
